BOARDING
Atlantic Animal Hospital has an enclosed kennel with 15 cages, and four runs. For your animal's safety, we only board our patients and have strict requirements to prevent infectious diseases from being passed from one animal to another. Infectious animals are boarded in a separate isolation room which as independent ventilation*. All boarded dogs are walked at least three but usually about five or six times a day. Depending on case flow we have separate kennel staff in charge of the care and management of companion animals in the kennel. We have boarding check-in and check-out Monday thru Saturday.
Please note that all patients are provided soft bedding including towels or blankets. Both paper and clumping litters are available for cats. We feed Science Diet Sensitive Stomach food to your companion, unless otherwise requested. We do not recommend leaving special toys or blankets with your companion as they may be damaged or get lost. We are happy to administer special diets or medications as needed*. Several services including 1/2 price bathing and de-shedding treatments are available while boarding. Please advise us of any special requests and treatments your companion animal may need while boarding.
