June 2010: It's American Humane's Adopt-A-Cat Month. - Approximately 4 million cats end up in shelters every year, including thousands born every spring and summer during "kitten season." To help promote adoptions of these fun, affectionate animals, American Humane celebrates Adopt-A-Cat Month© each June. This year, the CATalyst Council has joined American Humane in this effort to make a difference in the lives of cats. Cat owners can get involved by supporting your local shelter, learning about cat care and behavior, fostering a cat and by talking with your veterinarian about the health care needs of your cat.

June 2010: FREE Wellness Evaluations and Vaccinations for new Cats - To celebrate Adopt-A-Cat Month©, encourage cat adoptions and care, we will be offering FREE initial wellness evaluations and feline distemper (FVRCPC) vaccinations for all new cat patients at our Port Orange office. Kittens under 5 pounds will also get a FREE one month dose of Revolution©.
