18-19, 2008: The team at Atlantic Animal
Hospital is proud to participate in the local "Relay
for Life" sponsored by the American Cancer Society
(ACS). This will be our second year in the relay
and this time our theme is "Get a leash on cancer".
Even if you are unable to attend, you can support
the cause by purchasing a dog leash at our hospital.
All of the proceeds will be donated directly
to the ACS. Cancer affects all living beings
and the research to find a cure benefits all
creatures, whether two- or four-legged! Click

March 2008: We are proud to be one of the first veterinary hospitals in the area to offer a mixed breed analysis via blood testing. The Wisdom Panel™ MX uses specific DNA markers to help determine the breeds present in the family history of a mixed breed dog. This information can help our clients and veterinarians learn more about the behavior and medical traits of a mixed breed dog, and can be extremely valuable in the long term care of the canine companion animal. Attaining a sample for the test only takes a few minutes. Click here to make an appointment for your canine companion.
