Kaleia Corbin has been a proud member of the Atlantic Animal Hospital team as a Veterinary Assistant since January 2007. Kaleia was born in Portsmouth, Virginia but has lived here the Volusia area for several years. Her educational background is in Biology, with an Associate of Science Degree from Daytona Beach Community College. She is currently pursuing a degree in Veterinary Technology from St. Petersburg College. Needless to say, Kaleia has dedicated her life to working with animals. She states "there is no greater experience than saving an animal's life."
When not caring for our patients here at Atlantic Animal Hospital, Kaleia and her husband Chris are busy entertaining their five "children" at home. Their four-legged family includes three felines, Ice, Ghost and Safrin, all of whom she rescued, and her two canine companions, Rogue, a two year old Rottweiler and Phoenix, a two year old Rottweiler/Retriever Mix. In her spare time Kaleia enjoys shopping, spending time with family and friends and taking Phoenix and Rogue to the dog park.
