Michelle McCormick joined our team as a Client Advocate in January 2010. She states what she enjoys most about working at Atlantic Animal Hospitals is the opportunity to work with a great team of doctors and staff. Born an Air Force 'brat' in Texas, Michelle has lived in many locations, including Germany, North Dakota, New York and the United States Virgin Islands. She has a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Science from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry and hopes to pursue a Master's Degree in the next year to further her education.

Michelle and her fiance, Mike, share their home with their two furry companions, Unari, a Shepherd/Pitbull mix, and Kisa, a Domestic Medium Hair torti. Adopted from a local rescue in Deland, Unari loves spending time outdoors even though she has to receive routine allergy injections. Hailing from a shelter in New York, Kisa prefers the warmer weather and larger bugs Florida has to offer. In her free time, Michelle enjoys reading, gardening and volunteering her time as an Irish dance instructor in Port Orange.
